007 Action is an exciting and official James Bond exhibition which invites visitors to experience the thrilling world of the most famous secret agent in film history. This special collection features iconic vehicles, gadgets, watches and costumes in a 3,400 m2 space at the METAstadt Convention Centre.

A journey into the world of 007

When Sean Connery introduced himself to the world as “Bond, James Bond” in Dr No with his gritty and witty portrayal of the charismatic secret agent, he made an indelible entrance into cinema history. Sixty years and twenty four films later, six distinguished actors have played the role alongside the iconic vehicles, gadgets and uncompromising visual style. 007 ACTION takes visitors through spectacular worlds inspired by the four elements: fire, earth, water and air. Each room offers an immersive experience dedicated to legendary movie scenes. Highlights of the exhibition include the Aston Martin DB5 from “No Time To Die; (2021), the Jaguar C-X75 from “Spectre” (2015), the autogyro Little Nellie from “You Only Live Twice” (1967). For the first time, see Bond’s vintage Omega  watch from the final scene in “Spectre” (2015) along with his Tom Ford suit worn by Daniel Craig and Madeleine Swann’s costume worn by Léa Seydoux. Alongside Nomi’s

(Lashana Lynch) exquisite Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, a display of her super cool accessories and Omega watch from “No Time To Die” 2021. Q’s “Stealthy Bird” Glider and his newest gadgets - Bond’s EMP Omega watch and the Q-DAR 3D tracking device. Timothy Dalton’s never exhibited before costume worn when he was filming “The Living Daylights” (1987) in Vienna will also be displayed. “Vodka Martini – shaken, not stirred.” For a Bond-style refreshment, visitors are invited to sit and enjoy the 007 ACTION Bar. “What I find amazing, and I made sure of, is that 007 ACTION VIENNA is designed for everyone to enjoy. Classy and beautiful, this exciting exhibition will inspire visitors to re- watch the movies and relive these action-charged scenes which these props and vehicles were part of.” says Nicolas Borenstein, the curator of the exhibition. Video screens will feature projections of the vehicles and props seen in the series and will offer rare insights into the world of action filmmaking. 007 ACTION VIENNA is pure family entertainment.

 

 

Behind the scenes of the Bond films

Video screens installed all over the Exhibition ground show images of movies where these vehicles and props are used. Even sometime showing how these iconic cinema moments were filmed, providing this spectacular one-in-a-lifetime environment. The exhibition will not only provide an insight into the iconic vehicles, but also into the secrets behind the scenes of the James Bond films. Visitors can discover rare production photos, storyboards and interviews with the directors and stunt coordinators documenting the making of the most spectacular scenes. The impressive stories behind the stunts and special effects are presented in detail and offer rare insights into the world of filmmaking. Visitors will learn how the Aston Martins and other vehicles were prepared for the spectacular stunts and what special adjustments were made to make them film-ready. There is also a special focus on the innovative gadgets developed by Q, the legendary weapons master of MI6. From concealed weapons to state-of-the-art surveillance devices, the exhibition shows how these technologies were used in the films and the real-world inspirations behind them.

007 ACTION VIENNA is pure family entertainment at its best, already enjoyed by millions of visitors on both side of the Atlantic Ocean.
